From September 24-25th Connect Japan has coordinated study trip for Nonpi Kounotori, Social Welfare Corporation Kounotori Fukushikai. They have visited the Netherlands to learn more about how Dutch nursery homes cope with taking care of elderly people with dementia. Connect Japan made appointments with nursing homes such as Overspaarne in Haarlem (https://www.kennemerhart.nl/locaties/woonzorgcentrum-overspaarne-haarlem/) , Hogeweyk in Weesp (https://www.vivium.nl/verpleeghuis-dementie-hogewey-de-hogeweyk-weesp) and also with an research institution for elderly Leyden Academy (https://www.leydenacademy.nl/home-en/).
