Last May RAVAS and their Japanese partner have succeeded in obtaining a legal trade certificate for their hand pallet scales. Connect Japan has supported the application process by being responsible for accurate and smooth technical information exchange with the Japanese partner and the authorities.
Begin November Connect Japan has visited IFTF (International Floriculture & Horticulture Trade Fair) held in Haarlemmermeer and Flora Holland Trade Fair held in Aalsmeer with her Japanese client Rose grower. IFTF as well as Flora Holland Trade Fair are well established exhibitions worldwide, providing platform for all players of the Floriculture and Horticulture industry chain. Connect Japan supported her client in his business negotiations during the exhibitions.
On October 13, Connect Japan gave lectures to third and forth year student at Avans Hogeschool in Breda. (www.avans.nl) The subject for the third year students was ‘’ Business culture in Japan and negotiations with the Japanese’’ and for the forth year student was ‘’Business culture in Japan and market entry in Japan’’. The lectures brought not only the necessary knowledge of Japanese business culture but also many interactions among students. At last we ended the lecture with rol play to evaluate what students have learned.
